Anna Erkstam has been working at the innovative medtech company BioReperia since the start six years ago. The company has developed a unique technology that can with high precision determine the effects of various treatments of cancer patients. With the help of their zebrafish platform, they can in just five days produce data on how effective drugs are in slowing the growth and spread of human cancer cells.
Anna holds a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences and went straight from the research world to being a key figure in running a brand-new startup. She learned everything from sales to accounting and broaden her knowledge of entrepreneurship enormously. Today, she is responsible for coordinating the clinical operations, quality assurance, handling strategic partnerships and managing the company’s customer relations.
