LEAD has invited Elisabet from our collaboration partner Priscia to talk about external financing.
LEAD Talks is an internal event for LEADs member companies where we invite various people to share knowledge on important topics that can be relevant to our members.
Every year, there are billions in grants to apply for. Some of them are directly aimed at startups and can, among other things, finance technology development, verification of a business model or to initiate various collaborations. Grants can be applied for from the EU, Vinnova, the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth or another government financiers. Every year, there are several so-called announcements that may be of interest to you as a LEAD company. Contributions can be perceived as complicated and cumbersome – but it does not have to be like that!
During this LEAD Talk, you will get:
- An introduction to what a contribution is and how you can decide if it is interesting for your company or not
- Which projects and initiatives can be financed with grants
- How and where to find the grants
- How to write a good application
- We start from a concrete case for a start-up company
Short intro about Elisabet:
During the last ten years in my role as a consultant, I have supported large and small companies in several different industries, as well as public actors, to apply for grants to run various development projects. I work with the entire process from applying for and finding possible funding, writing the application and also being involved in the implementation of various project assignments. In total, my customers have received SEK 306 million in various grants. I have on most occasions worked together with LEAD and the companies there.
