The deep-tech company Radar Reticence has secured 37 million kronor in new capital to bring its radar technology to market. The funding consists of a new share issue of 10 million kronor and a grant of 2.5 million euros from the EU’s EIC Accelerator.
At the same time, the company is bringing in Chalmers Ventures, East Sweden Capital, and Almi Invest as new investors. Existing owners LiU Invest, Halland Invest, Augurium, and Chairman Leif Haglund are also participating in the funding round.
“The combination of new equity capital and funding from the EIC Accelerator gives us the opportunity to scale our operations, carry out our first customer pilot, and grow our team,” says CEO Frida Wygler.
The company develops software that eliminates interference between radar systems—a problem that is expected to grow as more vehicles are equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems and autonomous driving features.
The capital will be used to carry out the first customer pilot and double the number of employees over the coming year.
Radar Reticence was founded in 2022 by researchers from Halmstad University. CEO Frida Wygler came into contact with the company through LEAD’s 2024 “Entrepreneurs in Residence” trainee program.
