LEAD company Renasens, based in Norrköping, has closed its first investment round where Norrsken Launcher enters as an external investor. – This is a crucial catalyst to realize our vision of a more sustainable textile industry,” said CEO and Founder Jade Abir Bouledjouidja.

With a clear ambition to change the textile industry’s carbon footprint, Renasens has developed a technology to remove dyes and additives from textile waste. The method separates different types of fibers, without degrading their properties, so they can be used to produce new textiles. Dyes and other additives are also removed in the process, which, among other things, reduces the release of microplastics.

Now Norrsken Launcher, which only invests in 1-3 companies per year, has become an investor in the company with the ambition to scale up both technology and business.

– This shows the potential of our deeptech companies here in Östergötland. We are incredibly proud and happy about Renasen’s success,” says Magnus Krogh, business coach at LEAD.

Jade Abir Bouledjouidja says LEAD played a significant role in bringing in its first external investment.

– The Incubator has accelerated our progress through valuable networking opportunities, resources and guidance. I am really looking forward to our journey ahead!
