LEAD has been granted SEK 500,000 in funding from Swedbank through Sparbanksstiftelsen Alfa to support LEAD companies in 2025. The capital aims to accelerate the companies’ development and enable crucial early efforts for their success.

– “We are very pleased with this announcement. The financing from Swedbank through Sparbanksstiftelsen Alfa is extremely important for our early-stage companies,” says Catharina Sandberg, CEO of LEAD.

Since 2019, LEAD has had a strategic collaboration with Swedbank through Sparbanksstiftelsen Alfa, which has enabled annual financing for companies in the start-up phase. The support is given in the form of interest-free loans of up to SEK 75,000, which are repaid if or when the company generates revenue or raises external funding. If this does not happen, the loan is written off in full.

– Swedbank is pleased and proud that we, together with Sparbanksstiftelsen Alfa and in collaboration with LEAD, can support young promising companies in Östergötland and thereby contribute to their development. Swedbank has helped many companies to take the next step in their development and we now look forward to continuing on that path, says Christoffer Borgsjö, District Manager Corporate Banking Swedbank.
