At LEAD, we coach and support companies – we do not invest ourselves. That’s why we see investors as valuable partners.
We work closely with our local network LEAD Business Angels but also with larger venture capital firms both in Sweden and internationally. We are always looking for new contacts to be able to match the right company with the right investor, at the right time.

Ready for investment
LEAD works according to the Investment Readiness Process by Beels – a method that helps companies become investment ready. Our business coaches are certified in the process and guide LEAD companies step by step towards becoming investment ready, in combination with our own business development process.
LEAD Business Angels
LEAD Business Angels is an exclusive business angel network for those who want to invest in early stage tech startups connected to LEAD. As a member of LEAD Business Angels, you get the opportunity to get to know LEAD’s carefully selected startups in a structured way. The network meets four times a year with the aim of creating good relationships between investors and companies before any business agreements.
LEAD also works closely with sister companies East Sweden Capital and LiU Invest.
East Sweden Capital
To strengthen access to capital in early stages, East Sweden Capital 2025 was launched, a new angel investment company that will give more startups the opportunity to grow and develop. The initiative is run by LiU Holding AB in collaboration with LEAD and is co-financed by Region Östergötland during the period 2025-2027.
