The spring round of BootUp, LEAD’s business development program for early stage start-up ideas, has now started. Over three months, eleven participants will be supported in developing their business ideas and exploring the potential of their innovations.
BootUp is aimed at early-stage entrepreneurs and researchers who want to bring their ideas closer to the market. This spring’s group represents a wide range of areas, from research-based innovations in materials and life sciences to digital services and technology solutions, including drones. Four of the projects are based on research.
The accepted projects are: Top Conductive, DiB, MoGen3D, SentinelLens, NeuroSense, Afraid, TriXi, Sprint, Vieta Space, Kidney Diet Coach and Overblicka.
– “This is an exciting group with a wide variety of both technology areas and business ideas. Several projects are based on research, and we look forward to working with the teams to help them develop their ideas further,” says Per Unell, business coach at LEAD and responsible for the BootUp program.
During the program, participants will work on business development through workshops, individual coaching and access to LEAD’s network of entrepreneurs, experts and investors. The aim is to help participants test their business models and take the next step towards building sustainable businesses.
The program ends with a Demo Day where participants present their projects to a panel of investors and other actors in the innovation system.
