Bibba Tech, a Norrköping-based company, combines legal expertise and technology to automate financial compliance processes. Since the spring of 2026, the company has been part of LEAD’s incubator program.

The idea came to Love Samson, co-founder of Bibba Tech, after several years of frustration. During his twelve years as a lawyer in the financial industry, focusing on areas such as financial regulation, he had encountered the same problem time and time again.

“The financial industry spends a great deal of time on manual regulatory processes that are both time-consuming and resource-intensive, and that increase the risk of human error.” “I felt that this had to be digitized to free up valuable time for financial institutions, but also to reduce the risk of human error,” he says.

That became the starting point for Bibba Tech, which was founded in 2025 after Love found the perfect co-founder in Daniel Andersson.

– We’d met while working on a joint project a few years earlier. And then I realized that someone with his background was exactly what I was looking for—and he said yes right away!

Daniel Andersson has a background in systems development and has long worked at the intersection of financial regulation and technical systems development.

“We’re specialists in what we do,” says Love.

Already Significant Customer Interest

With its legal expertise and digital platform, Bibba Tech is now able to automate processes that are still handled manually. There is significant interest from the financial sector, and the company is already working with clients in areas such as asset management, credit institutions, and payment institutions.

The business model is based on licensing revenue, with agreements that run for one year or longer.

A key area of focus for Bibba Tech going forward is risk assessment and transaction monitoring related to money laundering and terrorist financing.

– Here, we use quantitative modeling to analyze various risk factors. The goal is to identify situations that require more in-depth monitoring while reducing manual work.

Competition in the digital compliance sector has intensified, but Love believes that the technology itself is not the biggest challenge. The real challenge is translating regulatory requirements into effective and functional systems.

– There is competition, especially from companies that have emerged recently. What sets us apart is that we have strong expertise, are experts in the field, and have a broad network.

Since the spring of 2026, Bibba Tech has been part of LEAD’s incubator program. The focus moving forward is on developing the platform into a more standardized product that can be sold more widely on the market.

The team currently consists of four people with expertise in areas such as law, finance, systems development, and quantitative modeling.

Love says that LEAD’s support going forward will be important.

– “The long-term goal is to make Bibba Tech an established provider of regulatory technology for the financial sector. It’s incredibly valuable to have access to LEAD’s network and coaching as we work toward that goal.”
