In the spring of 2026, five companies within LEAD have been granted development funds through the strategic collaboration with Swedbank via Sparbanksstiftelsen Alfa. The grants aim to enable important efforts in the early stages – from business development and recruitment to technical development and raising capital.
Since 2019, LEAD has worked closely with Swedbank through Sparbanksstiftelsen Alfa, which has created recurring opportunities for startups to get funding in crucial phases.
– This kind of targeted funding makes a real difference. It’s about being able to act at the right time – whether it’s to test the market, strengthen the team or take the next step in development,” says Catharina Sandberg, CEO of LEAD.
This spring’s recipients include Roxen Innovations, Scenora, Katla Aero, Symbios AI and Fair AI Data, which have been granted funding for everything from participation in trade fairs to recruitment. What the companies have in common is that they are at stages where targeted efforts can be crucial.
– The money helped us bridge an important period during our investment round, allowing us to continue working in peace and quiet without having to rush a bad investment,” says Axel Holst, CEO of Symbios AI.
– Being able to provide this support at just the right time is an important part of building strong and sustainable companies,” says Catharina Sandberg. (edited)
