It’s time to say goodbye to LEAD companies SeaPattern, Polar Light Technologies and Neue Labs, who are now ready to take the next step in their journey as LEAD alumni. <\/strong><\/p>\n

During this year’s summer party at LEAD, the three companies were thanked with the traditional “kick-out”. A gold shoe, engraved with the companies’ names, was handed over by LEAD’s CEO Catharina Sandberg. The gold shoe symbolizes both the impression they have made at the incubator and their readiness to take the step into the next phase as growing startups. <\/p>\n

SeaPattern <\/strong><\/a>has developed a technology that can make existing hydropower plants 10% more efficient, without having to build new infrastructure or impact the environment. The company has its roots in research at Link\u00f6ping University. <\/p>\n

Polar Light Technologies<\/a> <\/strong>is a start-up company with roots in research at Link\u00f6ping University. The company has developed a patented bottom-up method to fabricate pyramidal microLEDs, through atom-by-atom crystal growth – a process that eliminates the need for destructive etching techniques and enables outstanding pixel size, brightness and energy efficiency. <\/p>\n

Neue Labs <\/b><\/a>builds connected IoT products and creates a new ecosystem that enables faster, cheaper and more agile development of product prototypes, as well as the development and manufacturing of customized smart connected solutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
